The existing backyard lacked a defined patio area and safe, comfortable access between grade changes. Our team installed a buckskin flagstone patio to create a durable and visually grounded outdoor surface that works well with the home’s architecture. New stone stairs were added to improve circulation between the patio and the upper deck, making the space easier to use day to day.
The project also included new deck boards and updated railings to refresh the elevated deck and improve overall safety. A new retaining wall was built to manage grade changes and create a more structured layout in the yard, while a new back fence added privacy and a clean boundary line. Black steel landscape edging was used throughout to keep transitions crisp and help separate planting areas from hardscape.
This project combined hardscape, structural improvements, and finish updates to create a more functional backyard that feels cohesive from top to bottom.
