“We hired Puget Construction & Landscaping for a large project in Bellingham, WA which included tearing down an old garage and artist studio, constructing an ADU and a carport, replacing the roof on an existing home, and undertaking a total transformational landscaping of the property around the existing house. The project required extensive installation of fencing, creating numerous flower beds, constructing two flagstone terraces, creating a two-tier backyard separated by a new 4’ stone wall, installing a path and lighting to the ADU in the rear of the property and planting dozens of trees and plants. PLC also helped us design our ADU and re-landscape the front yard and create a new front driveway leading to the new carport. The project also completed extensive painting. We believe our project was probably the largest and most complex ever undertaken by PLC. PLC helped with securing necessary building permits and installed extensive water drainage on the property. Jonah Wilson, PLC’s owner, was a hands-on manager of the project who provided an 11-page detailed project estimate and completed our work with meticulous detail and oversight. PLC’s construction team was especially hard-working, neat and friendly. We would heartily recommend PLC for small and very large, complex projects like ours. Jonah Wilson provided one of the best construction and experiences imaginable and we would strongly endorse PLC.”
We were hired for a full-site overhaul that combined residential construction with large-scale landscape design and infrastructure work. The project began with the removal of an old garage and art studio, followed by the design and construction of a new ADU and carport. Alongside this, we replaced the roof on the main house, handled all required building permits, and addressed extensive drainage needs across the site.
The new layout includes a multi-tiered backyard separated by a 4-foot stone wall, with formal flagstone terraces for outdoor living and dozens of new trees and ornamental plantings throughout the space. We created numerous flower beds, laid a new front driveway, and added path lighting and a gravel walkway leading to the ADU.
This project required significant grading, hardscaping, fencing, drainage, and detailed coordination between design and construction teams. From structural elements to fine garden detailing, every part of the site was rebuilt or reimagined. We’re proud to have delivered a result that’s both beautiful and lasting.
