We are looking for a Construction Designer to prepare designs for permitting and pre-engineering, ensuring projects are ready for smooth approvals and construction.

Position Overview:

The Construction Designer will be responsible for refining project designs, ensuring they meet local permitting requirements, and preparing plans for pre-engineering review. This role requires strong technical drafting skills, knowledge of building codes, and attention to detail to create accurate, buildable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed construction drawings and permit-ready designs.
• Ensure designs comply with local zoning codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Work with engineers and project managers to finalize pre-engineering plans.
• Adjust and refine designs based on client feedback, structural requirements, and site conditions.
• Assist in submitting permit applications and addressing any revision requests from regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure plans are practical and build-ready.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in construction design, drafting, or architectural planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.
• Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to create clear, accurate construction documents.
• Experience coordinating with engineers, city officials, and construction teams.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt designs to meet project needs.
